Berechnen Sie die deutsche Umsatzsteuer (Mehrwertsteuer): Netto zu Brutto oder Brutto zu Netto, zum Regelsteuersatz oder ermäßigten Satz. Rates come from §12 of the UStG.

How it works

To add VAT, multiply the net amount by (1 + rate). To extract VAT from a gross amount, divide by (1 + rate). For example at 19%: €100 net becomes €119 gross, and €119 gross contains €19 VAT. The rates come from the Tax Data table, with its source and verification date displayed below the calculator.

Examples

  • €200 net at 19% = €38 VAT, €238 gross.
  • €107 gross at 7% = €7 VAT, €100 net.
