Esta página aún no está totalmente disponible en Español. Se muestra el contenido en inglés.

Project how a balance grows when interest is added to the principal at regular intervals, with optional monthly contributions. This is an illustration based on the rate you enter, not a forecast or financial advice.

Cómo funciona

Enter a starting amount, an annual interest rate, the number of years, how often interest compounds, and an optional contribution added at the end of each month. Each period the balance is multiplied by (1 + rate ÷ periods) and contributions are added. The formula for a lump sum is A = P × (1 + r ÷ n)^(n × t).

Ejemplos

  • 10,000 at 5% compounded annually for 10 years grows to about 16,288.95.
  • Adding 100 per month for the same period increases the final balance further; the table shows the year-by-year growth.
