Generate strong random passwords with the length and character types you choose. Passwords are created on your device using the browser's cryptographic random number generator and are never transmitted or stored.
How it works
Choose a length and which character sets to include. The generator uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling to avoid bias, and guarantees at least one character from every selected set. The strength meter estimates entropy as length × log2(pool size).
Examples
- 16 characters with letters, numbers and symbols is about 105 bits of entropy.
- Longer is stronger: each extra character multiplies the number of possibilities.
